If you've just recently been dumped, you probably wish you knew an easy way of how to get over a broken heart. 

Now if you’re a typical man or woman, chances are you’ve been dumped at least once, perhaps even numerous times. You need to learn form these failed relationships, so that in the future you can build a stronger and better you and not have your heart broken again. 

The best way of how to get over a broken heart is to next time engender a more lasting union. Unfortunately, sometimes you need to go through a lot of ugly ducklings to find a swan. And so it often is with relationships.

As the old saying goes, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Keep this in mind with each failed relationship. Here are threee lessons on how to get over a broken heart that I have learned from having been dumped several times.

Lesson #1.  To begin with, not all relationships you enter into will be with your so-called “soul mate”. (What is a soul mate anyway?)  Just remember that everything happens for a reason and that reason serves you. So if your boyfriend or girlfriend just left you, think of it as having to be that way. Sure it hurts. You’ll probably feel despondent and angry for days and even weeks afterwards. Your heart might feel like its been ripped out through your throat. But these feelings will pass over time.  No one ever said that how to get over a broken heart would be easy.

Lesson #2.  Look at your broken relationship as one that wasn’t meant to be.  If you do this, you’ll quickly get over the hurt and pain and move on to someone much better. Think of it as a blessing in disguise. There truly is someone out there for you, but you just haven’t found that right person yet! So stop feeling hurt and sorry for yourself and keep looking.  Someone better is out there for you, now go and find them!

Lesson #3.  And finally, how to get over a broken heart can be done by simply going out and having some fun.  Don't stay home and have a pity party!  Instead go out and buy some new clothes. Change your hair color or hairstyle. Reconnect with some old friends. Frequent some new places. Engage in an old hobby or take up a new one. Keep your hands busy so that your mind will cease being preoccupied with the breakup. 

How to get over a broken heart is best accomplished  by you getting busy  and by you going out and finding the love of your life. Go out with a variety of partners and you’ll enter into a new relationship soon enough. Just make yourself available, and chances are you’ll find that special someone when and where you least expect to.
