Now if you have been in an exclusive relationship for over a year, chances are they are missing you right now just as much as you are missing them, maybe even more.

Like most couples that have been together for some length of time, you have probably shared many a pleasurable intimate moment together. You’ve probably also laughed and loved and even cried together. You have a wonderful and delightful history together, therefore your ex will not quickly forget about you.

If he or she flirts with you.

If they are genuinely interested in what you have to say.

If they show a definite interest in you.

If they maintain eye contact.

These are all positive signs that your ex wants you back. But after a breakup, there are often angry feelings to overcome and wounds to heal. So play it cool and play it slow. Give your ex some space. You want to get your ex back, but you don’t want to get hurt even more.

As I mentioned before, flirting is always an indication of desire. But calm down. Don’t jump headfirst into the relationship again. He or she might just want you back until they can find someone else. They might just want you back temporarily, or they might just want you back so that they can hurt you even more by dumping you again.

To see if your ex wants you back, ask them out on a date. Just make it a lunch date or ask them out for a cup of coffee. Even if things go extremely will on this "first date", don’t jump into bed right away! Your ex might just be using you to fulfill their sexual desires. Play it slow. Play a little hard to get. If they really want you back, you’ll soon know for sure.

If things go well on your first date, go out again a few days later. But again, even if you have a fantastic time, don’t jump into bed right away for they still might just be using you, and you don’t want to get hurt even worse, do you?
